It looks like a day full of sunshine this Wednesday. Toddler day is on! Bring the little ones for a mid-week adventure. We are open until 16:00 (Last entry around 2pm) and the Ranch Coffee Shop will be serving coffees, ice-cream & cakes until 14:00. Fancy an exclusive weekday discount? March Weekends - Spring is on its way, so what a great opportunity to get the kids out of the house for some good old fashioned free range, fresh air fuelled, sun filled family fun!
We are very early in to Spring with the weather being unpredictable! For this reason, we release booking dates for the weekends just a few days before to ensure good weather is on our side. This may be the reason that the available dates are sometimes limited - but don’t worry! We are constantly updating our website & Facebook page to give you the latest.
Ranch Information
Our Family Adventure Trail cover over one hundred acres of beautiful meadows and forests. With map in hand you will discover a new adventure at every turn including the Unicorn, Funny Goats, Archery, The Fairy Forest, Tree Houses, The Vomit Comet, Big Big Swing, Hobbit Hill, Two Jumping Pillows and of course, The Gruffalo!
The Ranch Coffee Shop will be serving hot & cold drinks, cakes & ice-creams, a selection of sandwiches & wraps and Gruffalo gifts. Subject to availability.
Your friendly canine companion is welcome everywhere here at Mountain View Ranch just please be sure to keep them on a lead at all times and pick up any poos!

Located on Rhiwbina Hill we're only a 10-20 minute drive from Cardiff City Centre, 10 minutes from Caerphilly and only a 1 hour drive from Bristol City Centre!

Is The Ranch PushChair Accessible?
The Ranch is Pushchair accessible for most parts however it is quite challenging. Being an outdoor nature inspired trail, there are hills, roots and grassy terrain to overcome. Pushchairs with big rubber wheels certainly do a lot better.
Are Dogs allowed?
Dogs are more than welcome on the Ranch even in the cafe, As long as they are nice and kept on a lead at all times.
Are bikes allowed?
No sorry please check out Mountain View Bike Park
Is smoking & vaping allowed?
No smoking or vaping on site!
Do you do Season Passes?
