We are now closed for the winter and will be be back open for February half term 2025! It’s been a great year and we would like to thank everyone who visited, we are looking forward to seeing you all again in 2025!

Our Family Adventure Trail cover over one hundred acres of beautiful meadows and forests. With map in hand you will discover a new adventure at every turn including the Unicorn, Funny Goats, Archery, The Fairy Forest, Tree Houses, The Vomit Comet, Big Big Swing, Hobbit Hill, Two Jumping Pillows and of course The Gruffalo!!!

The Ranch Coffee Shop will be serving Coffee's, Hot Chocolates, Cakes, Gruffalo Retail.... and delicious soft ice cream.

We no longer serve food but street food vendors will be here at weekends and school holidays including Pregos Street Food Cardiff and Bubbas Food Trailer.

Your Furry Companion is welcome everywhere here at Mountain View Ranch just please be sure to keep them on a lead.

Please no bikes, no Bbq's , no smoking, no vaping on site thank you!

Located on Rhiwbina Hill we're only a 10-20 minute drive from Cardiff City Centre, 10 minutes from Caerphilly and only a 1 hour drive from Bristol City Centre!

FAQ’s

Is The Ranch PushChair Accessible?

The Ranch is Pushchair accessible for most parts however it is quite challenging. Being an outdoor nature inspired trail, there are hills, roots and grassy terrain to overcome. Pushchairs with big rubber wheels certainly do a lot better.
Are Dogs allowed?

Dogs are more than welcome on the Ranch even in the cafe, As long as they are nice and kept on a lead at all times.

Are bikes allowed?

No sorry please check out Mountain View Bike Park

Is smoking & vaping allowed?

No smoking or vaping on site!

Do you do Season Passes?

We currently do not do season passes.
